This week and last week we were doing  a coding of an app and we had to make a animal soundboard it was quite hard. I choose a duck and there were three sounds and pictures already made up and you had to choose the name and change what it says i made mine duck. This is all i've done on it at the moment but here's the picture that I used for the duck.

123 Tech Reflection

In term 3 Miss Cains said that we were going to do a challenge when she said that I didn't know what we were going to do. Then she said that we had to think of a problem in our community that we could fix or help with we first couldn't think of anything we thought maybe a rubbish app then we saw a bunch of other people doing that so we thought and thought. Then we Nathan liked dinosaurs and then he thought of an dinosaur app and that is what we did we didn't go to the regionals but one of our teams in our class made it into the nationals and they will be going to wellington on december the 5th. Project name: Dinosaur facts for kids

Team name and members : Our team name is Techos 3 and our names are Nathan Jaden and Sophia

School : Oratia School

What was the project and why did you choose it : We chose it because know one in our class was doing a game  and because we wanted kids to stay safe online. We think our app was a good choice because more kids like dinosaurs so if we did an app for  big people not much off them would go on it but since this app is for kids they will.

Which part of the project did you get excited about and why:  we got excited to write the facts but then we realized that it would be a bit boring if it was just facts so it is now facts games and puzzles that’s what we got excited about so now our app is better.

What did you learn by doing this challenge: we lurent to keep kids safe online and we also learnt that stuff can get a bit challenge at times but we got through that  and we would be so happy if we got to the next level.

Stranded By Jaden

Stranded

One day there was an island and some people on a boat it was night time and they needed to
sleep so they put the anchor down and went to sleep. The next day… They woke up and they
were on and island and the anchor was gone they looked around and all they could see was
sand and tropical trees. They went to go get some food because coconuts and pineapples
everywhere but then they smelt something so good that it made mouth water.

Then they pulled the flax and then they saw a kfc and a burger king they ran back to the
boat and tried to find their money after a few minutes of searching they found there wallets
and their money. They went back to the spot and it was there so they ran as fast as they
could to the shop and what did they find? Heps and eps of burgers and chicken and then
they thought how did it get there?. Then they saw a bunch of chickens outside then they
knew how they went to the counter and ordered they asked the guy working their named
jeff if he knew were they were.

He said he didn't know he said in a sad voice “ one day he woke up and he was here there was a voice mess on his phone that said this is your new job now start making burgers” looking at the outfit next to him. The jeff said “and that is how I am now here” So do you want anything to eat he said they all said YES !!! they sat down and talked they ate till they couldn't eat anymore. Then they remembered there phones are in the boat so they quickly ran like they have never have before. They got to the boat and looked they found the phone and they had reception so they turned the data and looked were they were and then they all saw that they were all next to where they left the boat. The End

Fred The Ostrich

 One day at the zoo there was an ostrich and his name was fred and he liked to scare people when they went near him. Fred screamed when he was mad and mad nice sounds when he was happy one day a zoo keeper came to give Fred food. But Fred was sleeping and he mad a crash when he dropped a bucket and Fred woke up real fast and then chased the zookeeper out. After that he never went in Freds cadge again and everytime the zookeeper walks past Fred steres him and points his neck out at him. Fred was walking around his cage and then he saw a gap in the wall he thought that he could go back to the wild so he squeezed thought the gap in the wall but as he did that the zookeeper was walking past and he saw Fred trying to get out so he started shouting. But know one came so he knew he had to run and get him but Fred escaped.

The Egg By Jaden

The Egg Monday 17 September

One day there was an girl and she was exploring around the forest then she heard some birds.
Then she saw some egils and then a golden egg she looked around and ran as fast a she could
to the egg then all off a sudden she saw and egil flying around on top of her and jumped into
a patch of grass. She waited for the egil to go away and then it did she got up and started
running again she hid behind a rock and looked at the egg the egil all went to go get some
food. So this was her chance to get the egg she ran and ran then she grabbed the egg and
ran before the egiles saw her. One egil saw her and then started screeching and then the
next second she had a hole lot of egils chasing her they smelt so bad. It smelt like a dead
animal.

My Slow Mo Story

There was a donkey running to the nice refreshing grass it had just rained and you could see the
grass shining across the field. He slowly munched it tasted so good but then… next he saw big dark
clouds floating towards him and next CRASH he heard lightning getting closer and closer as he ran

Synopsis: One day in summer a brother and sister needed to walk a dog. And they needed some pocket money as well so they decided go to an apple orchard they tied the dog on the fence so they could pick some apples to sell. But they found a mushroom and got distracted they still had Digby on the fence when they looked up he was gone. They went looking him but they couldn't see him but then they went to the animal shelter and found him they were going to call the number on the name tag. But they got there just in time and it wasn't even there dog So they would of called the owner of dog.

An interesting relationship is between Jill and her brother they both work together with each other like when digby the dog  was lost they worked together to find him. And also when they were collecting apples they both collected apples to make some pocket money by selling apples. Because they want to buy some                  .

My favorite character is Digby because he one of the only characters that is described Digby likes to snap at flies, run and he also yaps at stuff paseal owner is called Gabby. Gabby doesn't like people looking after Digby that much I think she doesn't Digby to get lost like he does in the story.

I think the author chose the title to show the consequences of what you do. A way the author shows that that is why she chose the text is when Jill and her brother were looking after Digby the dog. And they got distracted in a mushroom and forgot about Digby. And some stranger thought that the owner was not around so she took Digby to the animal shelter.

One day there was was a magic door that only came to earth every 100 years in it there was
10 million hot chips in side It . All you had to do was find the door every time it aperd it was not in the same.

But this time it was in the middle of nowhere it was in the middle of desert some people

found it by walking around trying to find food.

once they found it they opened the door and they saw the chips they ran inside and ate them all. They went to leave and as soon as they were all out it discaperd they looked around and couldn't find it. They went back to there tent and fell a sleep.

and some normal plane fish BUT THEN… saw a shark he thought about swimming away very fast but he wanted to get a cool photo so he went closer and closer. He got close and he

wanted to just get away form the the shark he got really scared he still was going closer he

was going to go under it.It looked at him he got really scared he went to swim away and then

it started chasing him he turned around and swam so fast that flash couldn't even keep up to

him. He got away and saw another shark he really wanted a photo he went down real fast

he got under it and he put the camera in the water and swam under it. Took the picture and

got right out of there and here's the picture.

Introduction: On Wednesday we had a Matariki Arts Rotation. We went around to different classes to do activities all of the Tuakana team took part in this.

Activities: There were three activities there was a game kite making and drawing My favorite was kite making because we started the kite I didn't like the game that much it was called ki o rahi I didn't like it that much because you didn't get to run with the ball the only thing you could do was rip the tags of the other teams players                          and in drawing we used patterns to make a cool colored star.

My biggest challenge: Was trying not to press to hard on the pencils with drawing and trying to be light but I liked the drawing.

My Favorite thing was: Learning about all the patterns you can draw with and matariki games. Also how to make traditional maori kites.

Summary: I think it was cool that this year we got to do a matariki arts rotation.

This term I am proud of my handwriting because I don't write out of lines much anymore but next I need to try write smaller. This term we also learned how to make cartoons in google slides and then upload It to wevideo It was hard at the start but now I can do it eazy.

My biggest challenge was learning how to paragraph my writing because I have never done it before. Also one of my biggest challenges was trying to learn to do inquiry maths again from last year.

Next I want to learn more of my basic facts because Im only on stage 5 and I also want to learn my 4X tables because I don't know them yet.

One night there were thieves planning to rob a candy shop and the people robbing the candy shop were ants and they needed candy cos they have had no food for a week they had a small rubbish truck they were going to use to get there and get away. They started getting ready it was 1am at night they were waiting for the owners to start shutting up. They waited 2 more hours till they started shutting up they started shutting up they got ready they had lasers just in case they got spotted they could blind them. They got out off the rubbish truck and came in with a big bag the owners were out the back they ran to themselves and started getting all the candy in to the bag one of the owners came out to turn the lights of they saw all the candy gone they saw the small ants running with the humongous bag on their backs.
